DRAWIND worked on the entire ITAMINAS plant expansion project, with a particular focus on the tailings filtration plant. In this project, DRAWIND worked from the definition of the mineral process, through basic and detailed conceptual engineering, and finally to the manufacturing detail level. Working across all disciplines using BIM technology, the Itaminas tailings filtration project received the Minério e Minerales Magazine award for its operational efficiency. The ceremony took place in June 2022 at the Dom Cabral Foundation.
